Covid’s slow to fade
If you’re a Tory donor you’ll make the grade.
Contracts to be given, favours called in
Putting hay in the loft as the starving kids sing.
Power and wealth:
It’s all about self.
They pretend to care, while destroying our health.
The people are starving, with strikes all around
Their doors are open, but food banks abound.

Politics has become one big pantomime!
Look out behind you, they’re stealing the props!
No-one to call for, they’ve bought off the cops!

I couldn’t resist writing my own little ditty to the tune of Cliff Richard’s ‘Mistletoe and Wine’.
Life in Broken Britain as the Tories continue to plunder the public services and rob the poor – pandering to the elite in return for wealth and power.
We live in the world of food banks, warm hubs and frozen opportunities while Tory donors stuff millions overseas in tax havens.
Corruption rules and pays.
Like Cameron, Osborne and Rees-Mogg before him the disgraced Johnson rides off into the dusk to put hay in his loft as if he has done no wrong.
These people live the life of Riley while leaving squalor in their wake.
They have destroyed the country but are profiting greatly from doing so.
