They started out as a Rock and R&B band. They became a Pop group. They evolved into an experimental Rock group. Every step of the way they were leaders! Incredibly all their music holds up – even the Pop stuff.
Rubber Soul was an album that signalled a change. They were moving out of being a Pop Group into something more serious.
