New Editor!! Great stuff!

I’ve got myself a new editor! Am enjoying going back and having the old stuff edited. Brings it to life!!

I started with Neanderthal (my most popular Sci-fi novel). Had it re-edited and released with a new cover.

Star is the next to be addressed. Then Green.

I reckon my new editor might be getting a bit weary!! Seems to be enjoying it!

I’m loving the results!

Neil Young Book – 1st Draft!! COMPLETED!!!

Wheeeeyyyy!!!!

I have just put the last full stop to the Neil Young book I’ve been commissioned to write!! Way ahead of schedule.

This last month or so I’ve listened to every single track Neil produced in the 1960s! It’s been awesome. I’ve been reading, hearing and thinking about Neil Young all day, every day. I’ve even found myself dreaming about him and his music. I know! I’m in grave danger of completely losing my mind!

Hopefully, I can now take a bit of time out and I may make a complete recovery!

It’s been a journey through the past, as a bit of a loner in constant search for my cinnamon girl I can tell you, for what it’s worth that I am a child who has been flying on the ground down down down by the river.

Fortunately this experience of Neil immersion doesn’t seem to have affected me in the least – and that’s one for the birds!

I’m Head hitting, editing,

Righting the write.

Word splitting, whirred, spitting,

Writing it right.

I’m reading the read in

With all of my might.

Ceding the seeding

With the mind of a mite.

I’m handing out sentences.

Think I’ve been caught.

Judging the paragraphs

In my mental court.

I’m Head hitting, editing,

Righting the write.

Word splitting, whirred, spitting,

Writing it right.

Editing can do your head in. Searching for the perfect sentence. Selecting the only word that will work. Arranging the paragraph to create the perfect balance of length, style, variation and flow. Creating the perfect chapter. Checking the grammar. The spelling.

Moving the story through to its denouement.

None of the sentences are correct! Words have so many meanings. The nuances disturb the brain!
