I’m going to immerse myself in Hendrix today. I shall think back to the three times I saw him play. A genius!!
To think that he only released 5 albums in his lifetime – three studio albums, 1 live album and 1 album of singles.

Lucky man, I only saw him once – at the second Woburn Festival in 1968. Brilliant musician, songwriter and showman. As you say, the legacy issued in his own lifetime was slender (if magnificent).
That was one of my three!! A great weekend. I remember the excitement and tension building as the time for Hendrix to come on neared!! I don’t remember seeing you there! We might have stood together!!
