Thats interesting.
I bet it wasn’t quite as well kept when Elvis and his whole family lived in it. I rocked on the seat out front.
History. Another great performer used by his own, greed. Loved his Mother, without Her he, like others, was left to the “users”.
Yep. I don’t think he knew who to trust.
Nice fellow, too trusting there are always the bastards out there, then they take the money.
he was exploited
He most certainly was, I liked Elvis.
I was impressed walking round Graceland – I thought it would be tacky but it wasn’t.
Geez, tiny, wasn’t it… We’ve never traveled in the southern states. Maybe when Drollery retires.
It was. Hard to imagine a whole family living in it.
I wonder how many square feet it was… I thought OUR house was small! We have about 900 sq. ft. on each of the two floors, though a bit less in the basement as the furnace and what not are right in the middle of the basement. Not well planned out on the builder’s part!
At least it had a porch to sit on and play guitar.
Ah yes… If it had not, we might not have had Elvis!
He used to sneak off to the black side of town to watch the blues guys play.
You surprise me I imagined it to be “cheap and nasty”.
Bits were but it was also quite stylish.
