Curving bays of yellow sand. Blue seas. No people. You can walk the coastal path through the dunes and enjoy the air and peace. There’s nowhere better.
Castles on the beach. Old churches. Hamlets in the coves. Sun and sea.

Aw, I miss England…
You and yours are always welcome to come and visit! But remember the sea’s a little chilly!
Thank you, we’d love to… However there seems to be some kind of implicite rule that whenever we go to Europe, it has to be France! To think that I used to visit England every year for 12 years, and now I havent been there for another 12 years…
Thats way too long… In the mean time, you’re welcome to visit over here any time too…
Thank you. We’re the same with France. We love it and we haven’t been since your wedding!! We’ll have to put that right!
If you ever want to go to France, you could borrow my dad’s house. We’ve kept it but it’s empty most of the time. You could even meet up there with Hester… Dont hesitate to ask if interested!
Hi Virginie, Do you rent the house out? We’d love to do something in October.
No, we dont rent it… You could stay for free. Just need to check with my brother, he is the one who goes on the school holidays.
October doesnt have the best weather though…
Cheers Virginie. Perhaps the end of September or beginning of October? I will check with Hester. What’s the weather like then? Where exactly is it? How big is it? And only if you reciprocate and come and stay with us!
It’s in the same town as our wedding… The house sleeps 8 or 9. Hester has stayed there with us before… And although it’s quite far down in the south, October can be cold and wet

Another beautiful place.
Aww I love the cows! Great pictures!
I think they are ordinary cows that they dress up in shaggy coats!
Hmmm now that I think of it you may be right!
It’s a tourist gimmick! Some of them are unemployed people dressed up.
