Still Chopping Down the Trees
Still chopping down the trees,
Burning up the land,
Digging up the coal,
Drilling for the oil,
Dealing underhand.
All that matters is the dollar;
It’s just about the cash.
When animals don’t matter,
People aren’t important,
We’re heading for a crash.

The wealthy want more wealth and they don’t care how they get it. They’ll burn the coal, log the forests and fill the sky with smoke, just so they can buy a second penthouse.
The greed is killing us.
The animals don’t matter.
The future doesn’t matter.
The effect of what they do doesn’t matter.
All that matters is the cash and themselves!
