Surely nobody would be that barbaric!!

It is currently 32 degrees in Gaza – very hot! I am reading reports that Israel has once again turned off the water supply. This impacts all people living there – women and children.

Rosalia Bollen, a UNICEF official in Gaza, reported that 600,000 people who had regained access to drinking water in November 2024 are once again cut off. “It’s really vital for thousands of families and children to restore this connection,” she said.

What Hamas did was terrible but the ‘punishment’ for the whole Palestinian population is surely the biggest war crime of the century – up there with Putin’s actions in Ukraine!

To target children with a lack of water is horrendous. How can anybody justify that?

Israel is reaching new depths. They have bombed and shot the entire civilian population for years, driven them from one end of Gaza to the other, destroyed their homes, schools and hospitals on top of systematically starving them.

Has the USA ever won a war??

For all Trump’s bluster against Russia, Greenland, Panama and Iran, there is little substance.

America has a history of wading into countries with massive initial success, followed by an elongated period of being bogged down before finally being booted out. It’s a dire record.

They were kicked out of

Korea

Vietnam

Cambodia

Iran

Afghanistan

and Syria

It’s time the USA, Russia, China, North Korea and Iran put aside this archaic, barbaric show of strength. Civilisation advances. The world deserves better. Forget the bluster and bullying.

War is an anachronism.

Demand this hunt be banned! Sign Now opher,The waters off the coast of the Faroe Islands literally ran red on the night of September 12, filled with the blood of almost 1,500 dolphins that were mercilessly chased, cornered, and then brutally stabbed to death. That Sunday evening, boats surrounded the terrified, fleeing, thrashing pod of dolphins. They chased them into shallow enough water so that their terrible task could be performed, then they took out their knives and began. Dolphins were stabbed, shivering and left to bleed out; some of their spines were severed so they were paralyzed but fully conscious as they slowly died. By the end, 1,428 dolphins were dead.The Faroe Islands make up an autonomous region in the Kingdom of Denmark, and these hunts, known as “the grind” or Grindadrap in Faroese, began in the 9th century when our oceans had not yet been pillaged of nearly all their resources and whaling still happened on a small, sustainable scale to support small communities of people. But in recent history, these hunts have been criticized by animal rights activists as needless, cruel, and totally unsustainable. And this record high death toll has given even some supporters of the hunt pause. That’s how vast the cruel slaughter was — even the chairman of the Faroese Whalers Association said, “It was a big mistake.”Obviously, this event is no longer necessary, appropriate, or able to be regulated in a way where animals don’t suffer. Sign the petition and demand that the European Union outlaw this bloody, unsustainable, cruel tradition — ban the Grindadrap!Thank you, Lauren
