    1. Hi Neil. Yes I read the article and I largely agree with it. There was misogyny and racism at play. Probably made enough of a difference on their own. But also the Democrat campaign was not good enough; not aimed at the perceived concerns of the masses – immigration and the economy. The Democrats failed to put out a reasoned argument on how they were going to stop immigration or put more money into the pockets of the ordinary people. Trump set out a solution to both (even if it was both nasty, fascist and unworkable). He said he’d build his wall, deport 2 million and make tax cuts and tariffs. They bought that even though it is stupid. The wall is incredibly expensive and won’t work. Are they proposing concentration camps for 2 million? How is that practically going to work? It’ll be chaos, ugly and a legal minefield. The tax cuts, of course, will favour the rich and put trillions more on the deficit. The tariffs will spark a trade war and raise prices, sink the world economy and create a trade war.
      We’ll see how it goes. We’ll also see what happens with Putin, Gaza and Jong Un.
      Good luck for the world – I think we’re in for a period of huge turmoil. The guy’s an incompetent fascist fool. An illiterate, vindictive arsehole! Simple black and white policies are too stupid!
      Then we have the nightmare of climate change!
