To Protest Lawfully – Chris Riddell cartoon

Thanks John Peachey for sending it through.

First trhey ban the right to protest, then they control the BBC and put out propaganda and lies through the tabloid press, then they alter the electoral boundaries, and before you know it you are living in a one-party state.

  1. Opher, I was a member of NO2ID for three years from 2006 to 2009. The Tories are now trying to repeat, through the back door, what Labour tried to do to us back then. Why can’t you see that they’re each as bad as the other? And how can you support a “vaccine passport,” which is merely another avenue parallel to “voter registration?”

The “UK” has been a one-party state obviously since about 1988, and maybe back into the 1960s.

    1. There are elements in what you say that are true. Both parties, in order to gain power, support the establishment. But no. They are different.
When the Tories get in power they always cut public services and give tax cuts to the rich. When Labour get in power they fund public services, look after the poor and do not give tax cuts. That’s why I support them
I support a vaccine passport because it makes good sound biological sense. If we want to control the virus we need everyone vaccinated and the unvaccinated not circulating. It’s simple. It’s not about rights at all.
