This is a rare view of a unique talent. Hunger was a great, raw and powerful album.

Sounds good, somewhere between Donovan and the Incredible String Band with hints of Tom Petty, will check him out.
I think you’d like him Dave. First album – Hunger – was different – shades of Dylan – great lyrics – angst. Others are mellow. The last one was a beautiful response to his terminal illness – really moving.
A very nice guy too. A sad, sad loss.
Oh no – no sooner found than lost – I had much the same experience discovering the writer WG Sebald and then finding out he’d died.
Never mind – he left a treasured legacy of song – if much too foreshortened.
I have not read Sebald – is he good? What sort of thing?
