Shakespeare – the genius with words and ideas.

To be, or not to be, that is the question—
Whether ’tis Nobler in the mind to suffer
The Slings and Arrows of outrageous Fortune,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of troubles,
And by opposing, end them?

Do we just go on in life carefully ignoring what is going on around us? Or do we try to address the wrong we see?

Everything we do is political. We can pretend life is all fun and trivia or we can become involved and try to make it better.

If we do nothing the selfish and greedy will exploit us at every turn. That’s where knowing your history gives perspective.

I say we take up arms (non-violently) and oppose the warmongering, selfish buggers who run things.

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day
To the last syllable of recorded time,
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle!
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Life is short and we should make the most of it by living it to the full. If we do not have a cause then it is pointless. In the end it all counts for nothing but oh – how we should make that candle burn brightly!!

All we have is a short life. We are all idiots but there is still much that needs saying and doing to bring justice and freedom to the world.
