I can’t think of anywhere that has moved me as much as Machu Picchu. Stepping round that wall of rock to see it laid out in front of me was really breathtaking. A magnificent site.
I’ve been fortunate and privileged to be able to travel the world and see some wondrous places. Angkor Wat, Borobudur, Stone Henge and Stevenage are spring to mind.
Of all those places I think that Machu Picchu was the most breathtaking.
