  1. Opher – Excellent cartoon! If this is Inflation, I wonder how he’d depict the other three entities soon to crash BoJo’s Big Bash event, namely, ‘Energy, Taxes, National Insurance, and Price Rises.

    Talking of inflation…I remember a time when as a child five pence would buy a Curly-Wurly that was long enough to reach the second-floor window of our house. Now if I buy a Curly-Wurly, for £1 or more, it doesn’t even reach the top of the front doorstep!

      Paying more for less has been a trend in many things. I don’t know how many people will manage with all the rises that are coming. Tories are callous.

Child poverty, Child Deprivation, In-work poverty, Wages, Disposable Income, Food Banks, Homelessness, Pensioner Poverty, Savings, Disability Poverty….since 2010, under Tory regimes, these markers have seen increase, increase, increase, increase through stagnation, decrease, increase, increase, increase, increase, increase, respectively. It is despicable, inhumane, politically willed, and totally immoral.

        Time to drain the Tory swamp!
