We flew across Peru close to volcanoes, one of which appearing to be erupting. We headed out into the desert on a bus into a landscape of volcanic ash and shrubs – with the odd llama. There we found an old lady sitting in the middle of nowhere spinning wool. Where she had come from was a mystery.
Amazing landscapes, Peru is so varied.
I just love the Inca ruins too. We went from tropical Amazon jungle to high deserts. Amazing.
