Heading for the coast we found a bay where a colony of sea-lions had set up home with various sea birds nesting on the cliffs.
Once there were millions of these mighty sea-lions byt the wooden ships came and they slaughtered everything they could find – some for food, most for fun. What we are left with are the remnants of nature.
Where once life teemed, now it has to be searched for.
We’ve a lot to answer for.
