Once upon a time we paid for our services and the profits went to create better services or went back to us.
Once upon a time we controlled what the CEOs were paid!
Once upon a time we were in charge!
Now the companies are run by foreign investors!
Now the prices have gone through the roof.
Now, instead of investing, the money goes to overpaid CEOs and their ridiculous multimillion bonuses and foreign investors!
Thames Water is a good example. We are paying over the top to make people very rich! We get a far worse service for a lot more!
