d. We learnt that Boris Johnson was a complete useless dithering fool who was completely out of his depth.
e. We learnt that Dominic Cummings was a toxic bastard who ran the show.
f. We learnt that they completely ignored the Cygnus Report.
g. We learnt that they were sitting around laughing about the terrible things happening in Italy and thinking it couldn’t happen here because we’re British.
h. We learnt that they were totally complacent and useless.
i. We learnt that they then panicked.
j. We learnt that Boris Johnson wanted to let the old folks die and that he thought they should be prepared to sacrifice themselves for the good of the country. He thought that herd immunity was a good thing and the old should just die.
k. We learnt that he put the economy before people.
l. We learnt that rather than putting a protective ring around care homes they deliberately sent untested people into them knowing that it would kill.
m. We learnt that we locked down much too late.
n. We learnt that holding events like Cheltenham helped spread it and killed lots of people.
o. We learnt that they were so arrogant they refused to learn from bloody foreigners.
p. We learnt that Rishi Sunak’s daft Eat Out To Help Out caused the next wave and more deaths.
q. We learnt that Johnson is a complete twerp who didn’t understand basic science.
r. We learnt that they didn’t know what they were doing.
s. We learnt that they thought the rules were for us and they did not have to abide by them.
t. We learnt that they were never following the science; that was an excuse!
Was there anything we didn’t know? No. It was all obvious!!
The question is how did they get away with it for so long? Where was the scrutiny? Where is the accountability?
