When will humans ever tire of endless violence?
When will they create a system to outlaw all conflict?
When will we get a global body sufficient to stop countries attacking each other?
When will aggressors be made to pay for the damage they inflict?

Gaza, Ukraine, Yemen, Sudan, Niger, Syria, Iran, Iraq and the rest!! Sheer lunacy!!
What we need is a global body to arbitrate, to apply sanctions, to hold people and countries to account. A body to make war unprofitable in any way!!
Yup. It’s my planet and your planet and they’re screwing it without our permission.
It’s the state that’s the problem, Opher. States make wars. Get rid of states, and you get rid of wars. And political ideologies, and bad laws, and re-distributory or confiscatory taxation, and a whole lot more. And politicians and bureaucracies, too.
I’d get rid of states altogether. I’m with you on that. I’d put in a global control that organises everything on a universal basis. Unfortunately your local premise falls down in the face of big corporations, warlords and crooks. We have to have organisation and control – even imperfect ones are better than a free-for-all.
