Brexit has proved an unmitigated disaster just as it was predicted it would be. The extreme nationalist loonies of the ERG have allowed their rabid xenophobia and racism to run rampant and it has badly damaged the country. I doubt we will ever recover. Too many companies have gone under or fled. To much cooperation has been lost.
It’s a question of damage limitation now.
By all means honour the vote and stay out of the EU but get back into the Single Market and Customs Union before we completely lose our Financial Centre and Car Market.

So sad that everyone there is suffering because of them. A small and extreme group like the conservatives should really not have this much power to make such huge decisions for everyone in the country.
Exactly. Brexit was built on a tissue of lies and xenophobia. The margin of the vote was wafer thin. They had no mandate for an extreme form of Brexit. It should have been decided by a cross-party group. Instead the extremist ERG group pushed through the hardest Brexit possible and have severely damaged the country. We might never recover from this!
