You don’t have to be Russian or donate millions, to buy yourself a peerage. Indeed, you can be incredibly inept and still get a knighthood as a reward – the whole Tory cabinet is in the running! As you need to have is some damaging insider information and they’ll shut you up with a seat in the Lords!!
