Yes, I agree but I need to point out that Allegra Stratton is a former Guardian journalist and has said she voted for Labour, the Green Party & the Liberal Democrats so is she a Tory? Plus she was removed from her post not long after the “party” without actually hosting a press briefing. Sleaze pervades throughout politics not simply within the Tory Party. Do you remember Cherie Blair’s relationship with the convicted fraudster, Peter Foster, and the exorbitant sum spent on refurbishing his Westminster office by Blair’s appointee as Lord Chancellor? Jezza was filmed attending an indoor dinner held in breach of Covid rules also. Those in power or position no matter from which part of the political spectrum often consider they are above the rules they impose on us private citizens.
Anybody who acts with such disdain and entitlement should pay the price. It was disgusting.
