Quote 13 – Martin Niemöller – First they came……….

That quote is in the last room you go through in the Holocaust Museum in DC. And while it’s a very poignant post, what most people don’t know is that Niemöller was on board with the regime for quite a long time before he finally understood.
I didn’t know that. That is even more poignant.

What makes a man a fascist? Good question. The desire of inadequate people to be top of the pile, perhaps?
A black and white arrogance, superiority, greed and selfishness?
Indeed, though I’d call it a misplaced sense of superiority. Also, how many would admit to it? You often hear, “I’m not a racist/fascist but … “
I think those who wear the uniform might! There’s a lot of those. They try to justify it
