Out of the Darkness

Out of the Darkness

In the darkness of the night, Putin’s wrath unleashed
Ukraine trembling under the weight of his fury
Blasting cities into dust, blowing civilians to shreds
Shelling homes, destroying dreams with each fiery burst

Threats of World War Three loom ominously
Nuclear holocaust whispers in the wind
Not war, merely a special military operation they say
But the cries of the innocent echo louder than any decree

Rape and slaughter, death and destruction
The horrors of war painted in shades of despair
Families torn apart, lives shattered in an instant
As the world watches in silence, the heartache too much to bear

In the midst of chaos, hope flickers like a dying flame
Courage rises from the ashes, a beacon in the night
For in the face of tyranny, humanity stands tall
United in defiance against the darkest of nights

May peace find its way through the ruins of war
And justice be served for those who have suffered
For in the end, it is the resilience of the human spirit
That will triumph over the darkness, shining bright forevermore.

Here we are in the 21st century still acting like barbaric imbeciles.

Is there a way out of this darkness?

Where will that light come from?

Will Putin meet his end?

Or Ukraine be destroyed?

Will Russia come out of this madness and be accepted in to the fold of civilisation?

How much is NATO to blame?

US expansionism and economic control?
