Narcissism is one thing. Being passionate is expected. But this takes things to a very scary level. He is actually telling people that he will fix the system to do away with democracy and run American as a fascist dictator! He really is!
And he has the blueprint with Project 2025 to do that. He would not only fill SCOTUS with his stooges but take over all the democratic apparatus in all states, ousting people and replacing them with his MAGA Minions. He’s open about it. He actually says it out loud! He wants to put MAGA in control and do away with democracy!

From this vantage point in the UK I have an objective view about what is going on. It appears that on a global scale we have had a big swing to authoritarian right-wing fascism. We’ve had Bolsonaro in Brazil, Modi in India, Meloni in Italy, Le Penne in France, Oban in Austria, Johnson and Farage in the UK, Wilders in Holland, Erdogan in Turkey and Trump in the USA. Then we have the full-blown authoritarian fascists – Putin in Russia, Kim Yong Un in North Korea and Xi in China, Ayatollah Ali Khamene in Iran.
They all have certain things in common – nationalism, patriotism, authoritarianism, racism, religion and misogyny. They look for scapegoats. They whip up division. They use fear of foreigners, immigrants, religion and war to stir up hatred. They run on tribalism.
Trump is a classic narcissistic, power-mad, authoritarian fascist. He has deliberately used, nationalism and patriotism, the blue collar fear of losing jobs, the fear of immigrants, the inherent racism and misogyny, love of weapons and hypocritical religion to stir up fear, hate and division.
This is what I can’t stand:
a. The use of racism and empowerment of white supremacists
b. The misogyny, outrageous sexist attitudes towards women, aligning with suppression of women’s rights and sexual choice – the stance on LBQT, abortion and contraception.
c. The sucking up to the extreme nutcases of the evangelicals. The promises of ten commandments in schools, abortion suppression and contraception suppression. The removal of women’s rights and LBQT rights.
d. The authoritarian stranglehold on democracy – the incitement of insurrection, the lies about ‘stolen elections’, the loading of right-wingers on SCOTUS, the removal of all non-MAGA from powerful positions, the ousting of Non-MAGA from all roles in local government – reminds me of Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
e. Project 2025 – a terrifying blueprint for an extreme right-wing take-over of democracy.
f. The scandalous denial of Science. In order to perpetuate the lies about covid, the denial of global warming and looming global disaster, the environmental catastrophe and keep the superstitious religious and blue collars on side it is necessary to downplay science, undermine science, stoke conspiracy theories, disband scientific monitoring and discredit science. A scary denial of existential threats, a pandering to the ignorant, a fueling of stupidity and a colossal case of short-term personal gain over long-term enormous loss.
g. The Denial of Global Warming. In order to pander to the blue collar workers it is necessary to push old technologies – oil, steel, gas, shale, coal – instead of investing in modern non-polluting green industries. This is a transition point. Those who are seizing the initiative in green technologies, producing the cheap, affordable, clean technologies of the future, will reap the rewards. The dinosaurs will die. China is leading the way.
h. Immigration. It is obvious to all that immigration cannot be allowed to continue. Everyone cannot move to the more affluent countries. It is equally obvious that you can’t solve this with simplistic walls or through callous ill-treatment of immigrants. What is required is international cooperation, international policies and enforcement and tackling the underlying causes – wars, drought, desertification, economic desperation and political suppression. That means tackling global warming, not supporting tyrants, not exploiting and causing massive poverty, not supporting religious extremists. There are no short-term solutions. Hugely expensive walls are not going to work.
i. The sucking up to the worst foreign authoritarian fascist tyrants – his admiration for the likes of Putin, Xi and Kim Yong Un. His business connections and dubious dealings with the people who are actively looking to overthrow the West and our liberal ways.
j. Guns. The situation where any lunatic, mentally retarded, mentally ill, villain, murderer, assassin, crook, thief, gang-banger, political or religious extremist nutcase can purchase an arsenal of military assault rifles, automatic weaponry and who knows what, is clearly ludicrous. I have never seen a gun in the UK (outside of the military and very occasional armed police) but in my few years in the USA I had a gun pulled on me and witnessed a number of gun-related incidents. How many mass shootings, murders and assassinations does it take? A far greater control is necessary!
L. Deliberate, repeated lies and conspiracy. There is a constant stream of vicious lies and conspiracies that are truly obscene and completely undermine democracy. From the rude nicknames and portrayals of others, the vilifications, the lies about the economy, the boasts about himself, his achievements and what he will do (from ending wars to stoking the economy), the lies about ‘stolen election’, the lies about economic performance, the lies about popularity and voting.
M. Epstein and Sexual predatory behaviour. The penchant for young girls, the grabbing of pussies, the conviction of rape, the molestation of women, philandering, infidelity and the open misogyny. The man’s a convicted sex pest and rapist. I do not like the relationship with Epstein and connection with underage girls. It stinks.
N. The hypocrisy. Trump has jumped on every bandwagon to attract votes – religion, patriotism, nationalism, aligning himself with working people; it’s all an open con trick. The man hasn’t an ounce of religion or compassion. All he cares about is money and power and he’ll do and say anything to gain it. He is a billionaire crook, a convicted felon, a devious shady operator who uses illegal means to gain profit. I don’t trust him an inch. As for siding with working people while giving tax cuts to his billionaire buddies and holding up a bible while fornicating with porn stars…….
O. the undermining of allies and promotion of enemies. He undermines NATO and the western alliance that provides our protection, while cosying up to dictators like Putin and Yong Un. His policies weaken the west and encourage our enemies
I could go on. He has set up a fascist cult based on lies and deception. He is a threat to democracy. He uses threats, lies and violence. He is selfish, greedy and hypocritical. The man doesn’t possess a single redeeming feature. I despise everything he stands for, does and represents.
He’s a serious threat to my liberty, values and beliefs.
What De Niro says really sums the guy up. He’s an antidemocratic, Putin-loving fascist. He wants a totalitarian dictatorship with himself at the top. He’s poisoned America!
Continually spreading lies about voter fraud and election rigging in the face of all the evidence should be a criminal offence worthy of a twenty year sentence. It deliberately undermines the whole basis of democracy.
People who believe and spread these lies are either fools, dupes or fascists.
