So if someone is shot and killed, in any circumstance, shouldn’t there be an unbiased investigation? Shouldn’t the law apply to ALL people – especially law enforcers?
Is it right for the killers to simply be given a holiday and full anonymity?
Shouldn’t there be a transparent legal process with full justification and accountability?
In Britain Jean Charles da Silva de Menezes was illegally killed. There was a full investigation and accountability. We didn’t have the Prime Minister making up lies or obfuscating.

Well I would agree that it was not adequately dealt with in that no individual police officers were prosecuted – but my contention is that it was investigated and subject to courts and law. The police force was found guilty and Cressida Dick was fined. I’d like the ICE agents and their political masters to be put through the same court and process of law. In the USA there was no mistaken belief that Good and Pretti were terrorists planning a major operation or wearing explosive belts. They were simply murdered.
