Priorities
A political hurricane just blew through
Scattering the ruins,
Summoning the winds of change.
It’s blown away the greed
Brought fresh hope
A turning of the page.
The rivers took a breath,
The schools dared to breathe
Courts and prisons, the NHS
The economy, energy,
Defibrillated
Ready for real progress.
All through the country
The wind dispersed the stench
Of fourteen years of sleaze.
Billionaires quaked
As tax loopholes were blocked;
As we rose up off our knees.
Regeneration and fairness,
Equality and justice:
A cry for compassion!
We want a nicer country
Where care is not a rude word
And help not on ration.
They better not let us down
We’ve had enough of them selfishly
Lining their own pockets.
We’re looking for some competence,
And clear thinking!
It’s not the science of rockets!!

A landslide put pay to the most incompetent, greedy, self-serving, arrogant bunch of public school parasites that we’ve ever seen.
This xenophobic, racist bunch of extremists who have spent fourteen years cutting our public services to ribbons and isolating us from our neighbours. They created Brexit – the most self-destructive thing we’ve ever done. It’s destroyed our trade, added red-tape and delays, tariffs and extra costs – and immigration has soared.
I have hope. Nothing could be worse than that bunch of fools. Now they’re off putting millions into the Cayman Islands while we deal with the cost of living mess they created!! Bastards!! Good riddance!!
