Most drummers just keep immaculate timing for others to hang off. I like a drummer who embellishes and adds to a number. A drummer like Ginger Baker can make a number roar. John Bonham was unadulterated power. But nobody could bring the drums into the centre of attention like Keith Moon – he was a hurricane!!
