They always make sense.

The world is run by hormones not intellectual reason. We are powered by greed and lust for power. If there was intelligence behind governing we would not have countries, religions, nations, wars, inequality and starvation.
If we were run by intelligence the massive sums put into developing machinery designed to kill would be used to solve the world’s problems. In a world run by intelligence there would be no war, no poverty, no misogyny, no racism and no superstitious nonsense.
But we are tribal.
We blindly align ourselves to gods, to leaders, to ideologies, to patriotism, nationalism and destructive ideas. We create us and them out of nothing. We create fear, hatred and discrimination.
Our passions create monsters, unleash nightmares and cause great waves of death and destruction.
We all have our reasons.
