Desperate Tories try to revive the dead.

Having wrecked all the public services, given away the cash to their chums and thoroughly broken Britain they now realise that people have woken up to the mess they have left us in.

From potholes to sewage,

Schools to hospitals,

Police and courts to immigration,

The economy to mortgages,

The cost of living to interest rates,

Nothing bloody works!!! We pick up the bill while Mone, Cameron, Osbourne and Johnson waltz off with millions!!,

From the rich, of the rich and for the rich!,

Desperate to have another round of power and corruption so they can continue the sleaze they are trying to convince us that they are competent and the pledges are being met I say BOLLOCKS!!!

      1. That’s the sad part. A very large portion of their supporters are the working class even though they are the ones suffering the most. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad.

      2. That’s the premise they operate by. Why spend money on education to create a thinking, critical population?

      3. Well spotted, Opher! That’s the nub of the problem. But the reason they have kept on voting for the Tories is that all the “other lots” seem just as bad. I think that is changing, though. The Tories have sunk their own ship. Whether Reform can fill the gap has yet to be seen.

      4. Neil, I know you are cynical as regards all politicians but they are not all the same. I am not saying that they don’t all make some crass and stupid decisions, they all do. But the degree of corruption, sleaze and self-interest is different and the effect on public services, infrastructure and the lower income families is stark.
No party has ever been as corrupt and self-serving as the this Tory. Their greed is beyond recall.
No party has ever decimated public services and infrastructure as badly.
No party has ever robbed the poor to give to the rich as blatantly.
The Labour Party will do lots of things that will not be good but they will make a far better job of looking after public services, infrastructure and the less well-off.
Reform is a populist right-wing branch. They will take votes off the Tories (Hurrah!!) but they will never be a viable opposition. Even if Farage (A complete self-serving nutcase) comes back they’ll be lucky to gain a single seat.
Tactical voting is the only way to remove what is the worst government we have ever had in living memory – as bad, if not worse, as Thatcher.

      5. Well, I disagree; they are all bad guys (and gals). Tories, Labour, Slob Dims and greenies. There’s about as much difference between Tories and Labour as there is between the Mafia and the Camorra.

But anyway, I’ve been looking at the report on the dismissal of Tory MP Peter Bone, which I didn’t become aware of before Christmas because I’m not a news junkie. It’s damning: https://www.parliament.uk/globalassets/mps-lords–offices/standards-and-financial-interests/independent-expert-panel/hc-1904—the-conduct-of-mr-peter-bone-mp.pdf. This shows very clearly that the Tory party conspired to suppress evidence of what ought to have been a crime.
