These scrolls were dug up from a cave in the Dead Sea. Fragments were on show in the museum in Amman.
There were loads of these religious writings. Emperor Constantine called the first Nicene Council. They decided what was the word of god and what wasn’t – ie. if they contradicted the message they wanted. They burnt anything that didn’t fit in as heresy.
The Dead Sea scrolls were just other versions. Some of it is the same. Some of it is different.
Just shows that the bible is just another manmade set of writings – some good, some bad.
