Walking up the Lyn from Lynmouth to Riversmeet

It was a fabulous walk up the river from Lynmouth. Swallows were diving around us, grey wagtails hopped on the stones. It is hard to believe that this was the site of such tragedy, death and destruction with that terrible flash flood in 1952.
