  1. A giant of a man Opher: there is a larger-than-life statue of him in Caerphilly, South Wales as tribute to his larger-than-life character. I imagine him to be in everyone’s top ten comedian list.

      4. Well it’s sold five copies so far (two of them mine and yours!). Who knows – one day, maybe. I must get round to doing some serious touting, marketing and advertising. Trouble is that my heart’s not in it!

      5. Fingers crossed Opher! One never knows! It may yet prove to be a bestseller.

        My heart isn’t in promotion either, nor do I have much interest in social media, which seems to drive such endeavours. Perhaps it’s time to attract a publisher?

        Pleasure, fulfilment and a firm sense of accomplishment is found in having risen to the challenge of writing the book in the first place, which as you readily suggest is a joy in and of itself. Of course, recognition of your achievement would be nice, but you’ll still go ahead and write the next novel without it.

        I’m happy to have a played a small part and will find enjoyment in reading Neanderthal through different eyes. I thought it a clever idea and a great story.

        You will undoubtedly have a wonderful, extended vacation! Six-weeks! That should give you chance to write another book whilst there! Should you find chance to get on-line it’ll be good to know how you’re getting on. Bon voyage! Have a fantastic time.

      6. I’ve already started writing the next one Dewin – a sequel to Quantum Fever entitled Schizoid! I’m hoping to get that finished in the next six weeks and maybe start another. We’ll see!
        I’ve just published my next book of verse! – A Cosmic Dance Through Life in the Perverse. It’s getting ridiculous!

      8. Quantum Fever is finished and published. So far nobody seems at all interested. I think I’ve sold 1.
        Never mind.
        If it was about wealth and fame I’m going about it entirely the wrong way. As it isn’t. It’s about expressing myself and my creativity – then it’s perfect – as long as I don’t allow myself to become despondent over my lack of readership.
        Yes – when I get back I will once again embark on the unrewarding task of seeking publishers! Ho hum!
