Education is not all about learning!
This focus on the measurable is destroying education. We in Britain have been highly successful because of our innovation, lateral thinking and ability to solve problems.
You do not get creativity by teaching by numbers!
Creativity comes from opportunity, inspiration, contemplation, experimentation. You do not create it out of a three part lesson. You do not grade it, assess it or analyse it to death. You nurture and encourage it. You give it the room to breathe.
