To be unbiased?
To challenge power?
To scrutinize the powerful and hold them to account?
To tell the truth?
To provide balance?
To report the minority view?
To report fairly?

The media have been giving minority views equal cover in a wish for balance. There should not be an equal footing in a debate such as Climate Change. When the evidence is clear and the vast majority of scientists and experts agree the minority voice should be heard but not be given a similar weight.

Can you scrutinise or hold to account if you are impartial?
Is the BBC being loaded with Tories?
