 The robbers of time

            Have no regard

                        For callings or causes.

Sucking the life

            From days

                        From going or pauses.

Seconds and minutes.

Months and years.

Robbers of time

Always end in tears.

Begin in an instant.

            Lasts for a while

Ends in an instant

            Never in style.

The robbers of time

            Have a million ways

                        Of stealing our time

And ending our days.
