Only the Gullible!!

Johnson’s defence is basically that farewell dos for staff were work and OK.

That’s obviously bollocks. Farewell dos, along with farewells to dying relatives and other crucial family meetings, in workplaces or elsewhere, were never OK and were never ‘work’. Much as they might have seemed important they were not allowed.

The ‘bring a bottle’ events were illegal and anybody with half a brain knows that. The person who made up those very rules should have known better.

Johnson obviously thought there was one rule for us and one rule for them.

When he answered questions in the House he was being his usual lying motormouth – anything that came into his head. Truth has always been a victim of his tongue.

‘Sue Shrapnell

Retired nurse Sue Shrapnell, who lives in Mr Johnson’s Uxbridge and South Ruislip constituency, said the parliamentarian had broken the trust voters should be able to have in their MPs.

The 73-year-old said: “How can he possibly claim that he didn’t know that what he was doing was wrong when he was the one making the rules? It beggars belief, it’s absolutely impossible that he didn’t know.’

I watched him today, with his shorter, combed hair, trying to justify his actions and come over as the hard-working, diligent boss who was trying to do his best and it did not hold up.

He attended illegal parties, lied to the House about the rules being kept when he could clearly see they weren’t, and now he should pay the price.

Scrutiny and accountability should be at the heart of everything in government.

Johnson and the Tories he represents clearly think they are entitled and privileged!

They aren’t! They are just a bunch of greedy over-privileged rich boys who think that they are better than the rest of us.

Let’s hope that justice reigns!
