Our death is in our genes. Coded in deleterious genes. Once we have served our purpose we are no longer needed. We produce the next generation; help raise them to maturity and are then surplus to requirements.
We need to clear the decks. We are taking up space and resources. The genes kick in.
The seeds of our demise are spelt out in four bases – the genetic code for death.
Who by heart disease?
Who by stroke?
Who by cancer?
The odds are wagered in our coding as our own genes betray us.
Past our sell-by date. Remove to the bin.
Change required.
We must adapt.
Make way for the next generation.
