Hi, sorry about the absence. Pressing family issues and then a week’s break in the Derbyshire Peak District with dear friends – walking, eating, talking and sharing.

So we’re a week or so further on and nearer to ridding ourselves of this inept, corrupt government! Sunak is melting down. Still no mention of VIP Lane corruption, law-breaking and tens of billions wasted and given away to Tory donors though!!
Donald Trump is now officially a felon on 34 counts and is waiting sentence. If the system is indeed fair and just and deals out like justice to all regardless of wealth, colour, age, status, religion or threats, he should be locked up for some considerable time!
I wonder if he’ll stall as much from his prison cell over the appeal as he has been doing with all the criminal cases piling up against him? The trouble is that this massive crook has been getting away with it all his life – sexual crimes, crooked deals, threats and misuse of power – he really thinks he is above the law and can get away with anything. We’ll see!
As for me – I’m off to mow grass!! Then back to work on my Leonard Cohen book!!
