We set off to try to find the sites that David Hockey, our greatest living artist, followed when he did his wonderful series of paintings of the Yorkshire Dales. We found some of them and also a few places that he should have painted!
The reclining Buddha was not the only marvel at the Wat Pho temple. It was a cornucopia of marvels. spires, obelisks and incredible decoration. The ceramics were spectacular. Intricate design, lavish architecture and colour!
