Making the most of the time
That we’ve got left.
Filling each second with wonder
Each minute with why?
And each hour with the fulfilment of creativity.
Such a short while
To pierce skies, seas, terrain, flora and fauna
With the forensic tools
Of our senses.
Despite the limitations
Of eyes, of ears, tongue, nose and skin,
To think and ponder,
To understand,
We have enough
To reveal a wondrous picture.

I’ve lived a very full life.
It takes the reality of becoming old to realise how short a time we really have. You no sooner get started than it’s over.
Sometimes it is good to stop and take stock.
We are on a journey, a short journey.
For me that has been a journey of love, wonder, work, creativity and opportunities.
It’s an amazing universe, an incredible planet, and the mind is a wondrous thing.
So glad I got to spend a little time here!
