What is clear is that a level of immigration is good! But we can’t have unlimited immigration!
We need a humane, compassionate policy.
I want the right to travel, study, work and live elsewhere!
I would like to see the world deal with the underlying reasons behind mass immigration – inequality, exploitation, global warming, extreme poverty, war and political extremism.
In the meantime – a big thank you to all the people from around the world who are saving lives and working tirelessly to make the NHS work, to help care for the elderly and save lives:
True, it’s okay to have policies but we need to be humane and compassionate. Try to understand what others may be experiencing to make them want to migrate.
In my opinion immigration is one of those problems that has to be addressed globally.
It’s also sad how conservatives often downplay the role colonisation plays in causing certain countries to be unliveable/difficult to live in.
It’s all that patriotic fervour makes them blind to reality.
