  2. They’re pining for the fjords, all right. But I’m rather disappointed we didn’t manage to take quite enough Hunt votes to push the Lib Dem over the line and knock him out. Rumour has it Hunt spent £100K of his own money on his campaign in the last two days – that’s about 40 times our entire campaign budget! Still, a margin of less than 1,000 must have given him kittens.

      1. Labour will make a pig’s ear of it, Opher. They are almost as much a part of the establishment as the Tories are. Who do they represent? Not small business people, and not honest working people, for sure. Bureaucrats and quangocrats, perhaps. And they’re just as much in cahoots with the UN and WEF types as the Tories. As I’ve said to you many times, changing which criminal gang is in power won’t fix anything. The whole system has to come down.

      2. Obviously we need the UN, that’s our only hope of a sensible global future for humanity (and unless we think globally we are doomed!) I don’t know too much about the WEF but we do need universal thinking on finance too – then we have the environmental crisis. Hopefully Starmer will make us a leading light in green energy and we’ll have tons of jobs and the economy will be boosted!!
        I don’t know how you can sit easy with a bunch of racist right-wingers like Reform. The more you hear the worse they get. The only good thing is they really fucked up the Tories.
        Not sure what the Tories will do now. If they respond to Reform by going more right they’ll always be a minority and be picked off by the LibDem. If they go left Reform with gobble them up. I love it!
