Tories Admitting they Squandered OUR Money??

Billions and billions utterly wasted or given to Tory Donors.

VIP Lanes

PPE waste (contracts to wrong people)

Tens of billions on useless Covid apps and Track and Trace

Tens of billions lost in unaccounted loans

Tens of billions in inflated salaries to the likes of Dildo Harding.

Billions in Nightingale hospitals and unused contracts

Billions in huge salaries and bonuses for privatised companies.

Billions on bankers bonuses.

No wonder the wealthy have never had it so good. Their wealth has doubled while we suffer cuts, austerity and a cost of living crisis!! They robbed all of us, particularly the poor and public services, to squander it on the wealthy!

How about plugging those tax loopholes!! All that money’s in the Cayman Islands!!

  1. I’m getting to the point where I can’t take anymore – (probably reached it a while ago)! Problem for Labour is by the time they get to grips with the inherited disaster, they will be blamed for the way nothing has improved since they took over. When you look at ALL the shit that is going wrong, (as you so correctly listed) how on earth can any government be expected to resolve all the issues in one parliamentary tenure. From the moment Labour takes over, the right-wing press will be on them like a ton of bricks, exaggerating every area where they have fallen short.

Add this to the state of the world from climate to Ukraine, to Gaza, to Sudan, to Trump and Farage and I ask myself what the f…k is going on!

    1. It’s a right mess! and you can bet the financial people are all right-wing and will try to fuck it up for Labour. This is always what we’re up against. That’s why we ended up with Starmer instead of Corbyn! What we really need is a complete take-over of the whole system including finance and banks.
Then there’s Trump, Modi, Oban, Melononi, La Penn, Farage, Orpo, Wilders and the rest. What a mess!!

  2. Opher, my latest rant is now up at https://libertarianism.uk/2024/06/26/waking-up/. You might be amused when I say: “The Tories deserve extinction.” That’s the first target. Then Labour will be the second.

BTW, you missed the billions spent on inflating public sector bureaucracies, particularly at local level.

The pundits seem to think Labour will be squabbling among themselves within months of taking over. But I think they will lose the confidence of the people first. Let’s face it, if they put up taxes any more, they will be hated by everyone, even most of their own supporters. And if the voting goes as it seems to be doing, there will be a sizeable body of people (including me) who will feel totally unrepresented (yet again). And we will consider the whole election, and so the Labour government, to be invalid, because the system it is based on is unjust. This could get very nasty indeed.

      1. You’re right Opher, and the only way out of the mess is to impose some sanity. But none of the mainstream parties have any of that.
