A Bullet in the Heart of Gaza
In the heart of Gaza, blood spills like ink on paper
A canvas of destruction, painted with the cries of innocents
Caught in the crossfire of a never-ending battle
Where hatred seeps into the very fabric of existence
The murder of innocents, a chilling symphony of violence
Echoes through the streets, a haunting melody of despair
Genocide in the seeking of Hamas, a twisted justification
For atrocities galore, a grim reality we can no longer ignore
Starving babies as a weapon of war, a cruel tactic employed
By those who see life as expendable, a means to an end
Racism at work, dividing and conquering with poison words
Fueling the flames of hatred, tearing communities apart
But amidst the chaos and the pain, a flicker of hope remains
In the hearts of those who refuse to be silenced
Who stand up against injustice, who fight for peace
For in the darkness, there is always a glimmer of light.

Centuries of persecution and oppression, pogroms and holocaust, at the sharp end of racism – they never learnt a thing.
Now the Israelis do to others what was done to them.
Hamas is despicable. What they did was barbaric. But using starvation as a weapon? Bombing civilians? Mass murder?? Can that ever be justified??
