On October 7th Hamas terrorists killed 1200 innocent Israelis in a barbaric attack on settlers and a music festival. They abducted 250.
This attack was deplorable in every sense and, in my view, fully justified the killing of Hamas fighters.
Israel then proceeded not only to kill Hamas fighters but to indiscriminately bomb women and children and obliterate the whole infrastructure and housing of Gaza in what I see is a genocidal act of vengeance.
They have so far justifiably killed around 10,000 Hamas fighters.
They have unjustifiably killed 30,000 innocent Gazans (mostly women and children) and injured 70,000 more in a continuing act that can in my view only be described as genocide of the Palestinian people.
On top of this bombardment that has destroyed most of the housing and infrastructure in Gaza they have deliberately prevented aid from getting in. No water, food or medicine can get into Gaza. This policy of deliberately starving, destroying hospitals and denying water and medicine has put the rest of the desperate Gazan people into starvation. Thousands die from untreated injuries and dehydration. Isn’t this utter barbarity on a huge scale and on a par with the Hamas terrorists?
Of the 250 Israeli’s abducted 150 have been swapped back. 100 remain in captivity. 30 have been killed by Israelis in Israeli air raids or shot by Israeli soldiers (who shoot first at anyone who moves – as per the three escapee Israelis waving a white flag and shouting in Hebrew that they were Israelis)
Israel has detained (abducted) 7000 Gazans on suspicion. There are stories of torture and inhumane treatment.
The question is why?
Is this proportional?
Is this indiscriminate?
Can the killing of women and children be justified by the actions of barbaric terrorists?
Is not the bombing of civilians a war crime?
Are the Israelis practicing genocide?
Is this a blind act of vengeance?
Is this genocide?
Is the Israeli government as guilty of systematically killing Gazans in a similar way to the way Jews have been targeted in pogroms and the holocaust? Is this their ‘final solution’?
Don’t we ever learn?
As I say often to my Nazi Israeli friend – TWO WRONGS NEVER MAKE A RIGHT!! All they do is breed more hate and violence.
I would like to see both Hamas leaders and Israeli leaders standing trial for war crimes and locked away forever! In my view they are every bit as bad as each other!!
