Psychopaths and self-servers.
The lunatics in charge
Always leave me nervous.
What kind of world
Are they busy creating?
Profits before people.
Votes raised through hating.

The world is being run for profit by a bunch of people for whom compassion is a sign of weakness.
Deaf to misery they see poverty as something to be exploited, war is a handy source of profit and nature is just undeveloped cash.
The future of the planet or suffering of people is of no consequence. All they can about is their own power and wealth. They will do anything for personal gain.
Because they do not care about other people at all they can be cruel and ruthless. That is why the psychopaths, sociopaths and narcissists rise to the top. They are not distracted by considerations of others or the tragic effects of their policies. They have no remorse.
