Compared to the number coming in legally from Africa and Asia the boats are a small minority. All we’ve done with this immense cost of closing our borders is make it incredibly expensive and problematic for trade and travel, full of red tape, border checks, delays and extra costs and depriving us of a cheap workforce from Eastern Europe. Lose lose lose lose.
Now we see the Tories making this thing about he boats a crisis, bringing in draconian, expensive measures backed up with fear and nastiness. There’s no need. We just need an efficient, effective process. Send back the ones we don’t want and put the others to work! We desperately need workers!

My mate Tony says Opher for Prime Minister!

Lol – nobody could do much worse, could they?
“Draconian, expensive measures backed up with fear and nastiness. ”
Well done Opher, you’ve sussed their agenda. They’ll do anything for an excuse to hurt innocent people. Their draconian measures are objectives in themselves; the boats are only an excuse. They like to fabricate false crises, that give them an opportunity to tyrannize people.
It’s exactly the same with the “climate crisis.” …and it isn’t just the Tories that work that way.
Lol Neil. You’re right. It isn’t just the Tories that work that way. It’s just that they are much worse than all the others. They epitomise greed and entitlement.
You’re wrong about the climate crisis though, That’s real.
How’s your writing going?? Looks like a long one!
Oh yes, it will be a long one. So long, that I’ve had to split it into four parts! I’m hoping to get the first part out tomorrow.
Then, I’ll be able to take another look at Pandora. The latest text I have is dated 14 January, and that was before you wrote the Prologue. Can you send me the latest version, please?
I certainly can. Haven’t heard anything else back on the Cabal yet. The next stop is putting the Scrolls out.
