It might cost you an awful lot of money, make your life a lot harder and make it really difficult to do anything abroad, obtain skilled workers etc. And your life is now full of red tape, delays and extra costs, which is depressing, but at least you’ve made people like Boris Johnson and Rees-Mogg extremely rich!!
