Yes, unfortunately so.
The question then arises as to why?? Surely there are more competent people, people with more integrity??
Unfortunately, I think the number of incompetent people far outweigh the competent people.
Lol – so true – but we should still be able to come up with far better leaders than we currently seem to have. We seem to have a wave of far-right disasters right across the globe! They are greedy, self-serving liars.
Yes, they are just the absolute worst and the sad thing is that people actually believe their lies. I really hope this shift to the extreme right goes away quickly.
Optimistically I think we are on the cusp of change back to a more caring period. Things go in cycles.

Me too. I’ve had far too much of Trump, Bolsonaro, Johnson, Oban, Meloni, Erdogan, Modi and Putin. I’ve had enough of the repressive regimes in Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and North Korea. I’ve had enough of China too! That’ll do for starters!!
